Below is a series of digital artifacts I created to assist with the learning process in differentiating the media students interact with. After that there is a series of my favorite simulations followed by pictures of me enacting them.

Columbian Exchange Thinglink

Thinglink is a fantastic  interactive digital tool for educators to use. This is a Thinglink I created to further scaffold a lesson on the Columbian Exchange.

As historians we are well aware of the differences between the Columbian Exchange and the Transatlantic slave trade. A common misconception of students is to mix them together. They are separate, but they happen around the same time and are taught back to back. This artifact is to help separate the two ideas and further student understanding.

Mouse over the Thinglink to explore it for yourself
